The Leatherneck Warriors are passionate about Dragon Boat racing and are even more passionate in our support of the men and women who put their lives in jeopardy each and every day as they serve our country defending democracy and freedom at all cost. We cannot let them down-----we must never forget what they have sacrificed for world peace! So in our small way we are doing our part. Every month or so we choose a small coed group of marines who are deployed in harms way and send them "care " packages filled with snacks,toiletries,books,magazines,small games and the like. We tell them about our team,our sport and our dedication to them. We also send our mascot "Duckie"------He and his pals have been deployed to Afghanistan many times. We try to send a little bit of home along with a large order of good luck to all!
